Complete this customer form to send your request directly to Charleston Watch Exchange. Jacob will follow up about your watch and intake arrangements. Please do not ship your watch until arrangements are confirmed.
We coordinate service with an experienced independent watchmaker in Virginia. Typical turnaround is 6–8 weeks depending on the request. Each watch is assessed individually; if a repair is outside his capabilities or cannot be taken on, he will tell us honestly. We currently do not offer polishing of any kind.
$50 diagnostic & coordination fee · Paid upfront
After submitting your request, please send $50 to business Venmo @chswatchexchange. Use Last name / Watch brand as the payment note—for example, Smith / Omega.
The form does not charge you automatically. The $50 fee covers intake, diagnostic coordination, shipping drop-off, and receiving your watch back. Shipping and transit insurance are paid separately by the customer. Repair costs require your separate approval.
Shipping & service terms
You are responsible for paying shipping and transit insurance to and from the watchmaker. Charleston Watch Exchange handles shipment coordination, carrier drop-off, and receiving the watch back. This handling is included in the $50 fee. Shipping arrangements and insurance coverage are confirmed with you before dispatch.
Shipping is usually about $20 each way, typically $40–$50 round trip. Actual costs vary; transit insurance is additional at actual cost. Shipping and transit insurance are passed through at actual cost with no markup in either direction. Receipts are available on request.
Charleston Watch Exchange LLC does not provide transit insurance and is not responsible for carrier loss, theft, damage, delay, or inadequate transit coverage, to the extent permitted by law. Declared value alone may not be insurance. Carrier and insurer terms apply. This does not excuse Charleston Watch Exchange LLC’s own negligence or waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Submitting this request authorizes inspection and an estimate, not repair work or parts replacement. No completion date or water resistance is guaranteed by this form.
